Entry Qualifications
To become a Beach Lifeguard, the entry qualifications typically include the following:
Swim 200m Non-Stop
Candidates should be able to swim continuously for 200 meters without stopping, demonstrating proficiency and endurance in the water

Dive and Object Retrieval
Participants must be capable of diving down to a depth of 3 meters and retrieving three objects consecutively. This skill showcases comfort and ability in submerging and performing tasks underwater.

Tread Water
Candidates should be able to tread water for at least 5 minutes. This skill demonstrates the ability to stay afloat and maintain oneself in water without using any floatation devices.

Swim Backstroke and Breaststroke
Participants should have a basic proficiency in swimming both backstroke and breaststroke. This includes being able to swim 50 meters using each stroke, displaying proper technique and control.

Confidence in Deep Water
Candidates must have confidence in deep water environments and be comfortable swimming in depths exceeding their own height.
